Where there is no specific Agreement in place and provided contributions have not been refunded/withdrawn from another registered pension plan the Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP) (Province of Newfoundland and Labrador) provides for the credit of equivalent service via a purchase arrangement. Monies may be transferred from the exporting plan to be used to offset the cost of the purchase.

Where the PSPP is the exporting Plan, former members should consult with the new employer regarding the possibility of transferring service.
