The Comptroller General of Finance assists the Deputy Minister of Finance and Secretary to Treasury Board and has delegated responsibility, pursuant to the Financial Administration Act, for the administration and control of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Province with respect to the receipt and payment of public money, accounting policy, books of the Province, financial reporting, financial analysis, advice, internal auditing, payroll, banking and related matters.
