Financial Planning and Benefits Administration Branch

Responsibilities

The Financial Planning and Benefits Administration Branch is responsible for the coordination of the Province’s annual budgetary process; the provision of operational support and advisory services to the Treasury Board Committee of Cabinet; the administration of six public service pension programs; and the management of Government’s general insurance and group insurance programs for selected government entities and public sector employees/retirees.

The Financial Planning and Benefits Administration Branch is organized into the following four divisions:
