Responsibilities
- Developing and administering all risk management and group insurance programs for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador;
- Developing professional risk management strategies for government; and
- Providing group insurance contract administration and delivery of insurance services to employees, retirees, departments, outside agencies, Crown corporations and school boards.
Open Enrolment – Group Insurance Plan
During the month of November there will be an Open Enrolment period offered to all active members of the Group Insurance Plan. All employees currently insured under the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador group insurance program will be given the opportunity to apply for, or increase, the life insurance amounts for various categories of coverage. Employees are invited to visit www.intranet.gov.nl.ca for more information.
